I am delighted to introduce you to Jennie who has recently joined our team, after qualifying from the University of the Creative Arts in
Throughout the course Jennie took part in a number of exhibitions and competitions. This included a design project for a company called ‘Marjo’, the suite of jewellery she designed won the runner up prize and was considered for manufacture within their business.
Jennie has also had her degree work displayed in the very prestigious Goldsmiths Hall in London, and on completion of her degree in June 2008, she exhibited at the graduate showcase design event of the year, New Designers. Followed by the International Jewellery London exhibition.
She looks forward to entering her work into the Craft and Design Councils Goldsmiths competition early 2009.
Jennie’s skills will be a wonderful asset to this thriving business, and she looks forward to meeting you on your next visit to the shop.
Claire graduated in 2007 with first class honours in Jewellery & Silversmithing from the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery.
As many of our regular customers will know I had the great pleasure of employing Claire for nearly 3 years as my assistant designer, as well as helping me with the huge task of running the shop & working on many commissions.
Claire recently left to embark on a MA course at Chelsea College of Art in London to pursue a career in Textile Design. However, I am pleased to say that Claire is still very much a part of the team and now helps me with various marketing projects whilst she studies at Chelsea.
Since graduating Claire has exhibited her work in several major shows including Interiors Birmingham at the NEC and ‘One Year On’ at New Designers in London.
We are very pleased to once again be selling Claire’s beautifully delicate handmade scarves.
